  • Year 6 Parliament Visit

    Our year 6 pupils had a fantastic opportunity visiting the Houses of Parliament this week.  Yunus, Daisy and Betsy had the pleasure of walking in the footsteps of our MPs, touring the House of Commons and listening to the Defence Secretary John Healy debate Russian Maritime Activity.

    It was a great experience to watch the live debates from the green gallery pews, before it was their turn to hold a debate in a Parliament workshop. We were also fortunate to visit Westminster Hall, where Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II lie in state, along with whistle stop tours of Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, 10 Downing Street and no London tour is complete without a visit to the M&M and Lego shop.

  • Year 1 Art Andy Warhol

    In Art, Year 1 have been studying a Pop Artist called Andy Warhol. We have been learning all about how he used bright, bold, contrasting colours to make his work POP! Being inspired by him, we explored and experimented with colour in many forms such as; primary and secondary colours, warm and cool colours, and contrasting and complimentary colours.   • Year 3 Shang Dynasty

    The Year 3 children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Shang Dynasty Drama Workshop today  The games and role play activities were fast paced and so exciting for the children.  It was a really fun and interactive experience for the child
