Please use Numberbots until directed by the teacher to use TTRockStars.

Weekly spellings will be given to learn at home linked to their English lessons.
|
Children Should read the book banded book or RWI book every night to an adult for around 10 minutes.
Parents are also encouraged to read higher-level texts such as fairy tales to their child and discuss the stories with them to develop their comprehension skills and love for reading.

*Research shows that reading is a key building block for success across the curriculum, supporting vocabulary, grammar and general knowledge. The EEF found that effective reading comprehension strategies can lead to an average of 7 months’ additional progress over the course of a year.

A short amount of time spent daily on these basic skills will make a huge difference so please inform teachers if you are unable to complete tasks!
*Teachers may send additional paper-based homework from time to time to be completed over the weekend.
