Year 4 4M 2020 - 2021
Miss McLoughlin
Home learning:
We understand how difficult these times are and we know home learning can be a challenge. However, we are all here to support one another. We are using seesaw as a platform to deliver the home learning to all children, including those in school. Each child has been given an individual access code in order to log on. Once you have logged on you will be presented with a timeline with the daily activities for your child to complete.
I have attached a video which may be useful for any parents who are new to seesaw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9FyB1SCbeM
I look forward to having everyone back in class soon. Stay safe!

Woodland Learning
Every Thursday the children will be taking part in ‘Woodland Learning’. The children will be learning a range of new skills in our forest every week. Please make sure your child wears a tracksuit on their ‘Woodland Learning Day’. Please remember to send your children in with wellies and waterproofs, this is really important as they are likely to get muddy!
P.E
We will have P.E on Tuesdays and Fridays, both sessions will take place outdoors where possible. Please come to school on those days in your PE kit, you will be wearing it all day so make sure you have suitable footwear and on colder days tracksuit bottoms and a jumper.
How to help at home:
Please try to read a range of books with your child for enjoyment, aim to read their school book with them at least 3 times per week. Reading books will be sent home every Thursday and must be returned on a Monday so they can be quarantined.
Children will receive weekly spellings to learn and practise at home, as well as weekly Times Tables Rock Stars. Spellings are to be returned to school on a Monday.
