Our Early Years Curriculum

Our weekly, topic-based curriculum responds directly to children's unique interests and special events, frequently enriched by exciting educational visits and guest speakers. We plan creative experiences around the 7 Core Areas of the EYFS:

  1. Personal, Social and Emotional Development

  2. Physical Development

  3. Communication and Language

  4. Literacy

  5. Mathematics

  6. Understanding the World

  7. Expressive Arts and Design

Our Classes & Learning Environment

Our Nursery provision is overseen by our EYFS Lead and Nursery Teacher, Mrs. Duckitt, and supported by a dedicated team of early years practitioners.

  • Themed Role Play Area: Constantly transformed into new, imaginative spaces.

  • Cozy Book Nooks: Inspiring an early love for reading and quiet reflection.

  • The Creative Workshop: A dedicated area for painting, making, and creating art.

  • Outdoor & Woodland Learning: Alongside our dedicated EYFS outdoor playground, children head out once a week for an immersive Forest School session in our woods.
