Class Library Wish Lists
Teachers at Townfield Primary School have been working hard to promote a love of reading across the school and in every classroom. Classrooms have fantastic reading displays and cosy reading areas where children can choose a book to read and relax.
Teachers have worked with their classes to create an ‘Amazon Wish List’ in order to improve the class libraries and the quality of books in class. The books that you will find on the wish list have all been requested by the children at Townfield, they are age appropriate and will help to encourage a love of reading throughout the school. If you are feeling generous, we would love it if you could choose a book from your child’s class wish list, purchase it and send it into school for your child’s library!
When you purchase from the wish list, you can choose to send the book directly to school or to your home address and send it in with your child. Once a book has been purchased a larger version of the slip below will be attached to the inside cover as a special thank you to you. (So, remember to let us know who the book is from!)
