Who to Contact if you Have a Concern or Complaint?
At Townfield we want not only your child/children to be happy, but also parents & carers. If you have any queries or concerns whatsoever, please do not hestiate to raise these in the first instance with yoru child's teacher. If after speaking to your child's teacher, should you feel that you have further concerns you should raise your concerns with the appropriate head of key stage; F1/F2 - Mrs Daffern, Years 1-2 - Mrs Kinnnear, Years 3-6 - Mr Hughes.
In the unlikely event that after speaking to the appropriate head of key stage, you feel you still have not received a resolution to your concern, please e-mail Mrs McDowell in the school office (firstname.lastname@example.org) setting out full details of your concerns, who you have spoken to and your expected rsolution and any other information which may assist us in investigating your concerns. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and our Headteacher or Assistant Head will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to discuss; you will recieve a response to your complaint no later than 10 working days following receipt of full details, in line with the Department for Education guidlines. Meeting Requests with the Headteacher & Deputy Headteacher
Please note requests for a meeting with the Head or Deupty Head are by appointment only and should only be requested, once the above procedures have already been followed (e.g. meeting/discussion with class teacher, then head of key stage, etc).
