Townfield Primary School has an 'in-house' catering service to ensure our children's health and wellbeing is the primary consideration when considering their catering needs. This enables us to offer improved choice and bespoke menus to tempt young palates, offering food that is healthier both in content and preparation. Mrs Evans, Catering Manager and her team are dedicated to ensuring they provide meals that are both appealing and appetising to all our children.
Our menu has been designed with the pupils and includes Nutritional Regulations. We have taken the children's favourite dishes and made them healthier by using fresh ingredients. We regularly conduct parent and student surveys when compiling new menus to allow children to have some input in their school meals.
Our menus can be found below and roll over every 3 weeks, starting with menu 1 on Monday 8th March 2021
Our school dinners are priced at £10.00 per week (£2.00 per day) and are payable in weekly blocks. School dinners must be paid for in advance (e.g. by each Friday for the following week). Payments should be made using the SCOPAY app or online payments system. If you require log in and password details please email firstname.lastname@example.org. For details regarding SCOPAY please see below guidance notes. You may also wish to refer to our school payments page.
Unfortunately due to lunchtime bubbles children are not able to purchase a hot lunch on an ad hoc basis and must purchase a lunch for the week, or alternatively bring a packed lunch.
Please note if your child has an outstanding dinner debt they will not be able to receive a school dinner and must bring a packed lunch until the debt is cleared. If children arrive at school without a packed lunch and outstanding dinner debt, the School Office will be required to call parents to request a packed lunch is provided. Should debts remain outstanding, should will be left with no alternative but to pursue recovery as per the school Debt Recovery Policy. If you are struggling or need support from school, please email the school office.
