School Parking – keeping our children and visitors safe
We would ask that any parents/carers parking within the local vicinity, always park considerately of our neighbours. Safety is paramount and we would ask that anyone parking near school, ensures that children getting in and out of vehicles is done so only when it is safe to do so, particularly when parking near a bend or blind spot for oncoming traffic, taking care not to let children out or open doors into traffic already on the road. Please note there is no parking on the school premises whatsoever – This entrance by vehicle is for school staff only and must never be used vehicle turning point or drop off point; it goes without saying climbing under the traffic barrier is extremely dangerous.
Our uniform list for both winter & summer uniform can be found via the link at the end of this page. Replacement ties can be purchased from the school office for £4.75. Blazers are optional. Click here to view our School Uniform & Presentation Policy.
Medical appointments should be notified to the school office by way of a copy letter or appointment card from your child’s doctor, hospital or dentist. Appointments without proof will be classed as “unauthorised” absences. Wherever possible, appointments should always be made outside of school hours or where this is not an option, as late in the day as practicable.

Friends of Townfield
Townfield work very closely with our parents association, Friends of Townfield, and as part of this school have previously held a tuck shop after school each Friday (weather permitting) and in summer the children have been able to purchase ice pops . Unfortunately due to the corona virus pandemic and ensuring everyone remains safe during this period of uncertainty, all Friends of Townfiled (FOT) events in school will currently be suspended until 2021.
If you are interested in helping out with any of our FOT events such as tuck shop, summer fair or Christmas fair for 2021, please let the school office know. We are always extremely grateful and appreciative of any help supporting FOT. The money raised all goes back to the children of Townfield, so we are sure they appreciate all the support too.
