2S - Geography: Hot and cold places
Lesson: Geography
Mrs Simmons is a little late putting these photographs on (sorry). In her defence she has been busy with SATs and organising the trip to New Brighton :)
Last week in Geography, the children were looking at hot and cold places around the world and why some places are hotter than others. They learned that the hotter a place is, the closer to the equator it is and the colder a place is, the further from the equator it is.
We learned what a continent is and that there are 7 continents in the world. We used maps to identify the continents and also to identify different hot and cold countries.
