Y4 Geography fieldtrip

Year 4 went on a field trip to Leasowe Lighthouse and New Brighton. The children worked hard to observe the impact of pollution at these two locations by the river. The children designed a tally chart with different items to look for and then recorded their results. When comparing their results, Year 4 found that Leasowe Lighthouse, an area by the river that has more green space, was less impacted by pollution whereas New Brighton, an area by the river that is more urbanised, was impacted more by pollution but was still a very clean place to visit.
