Who to Contact if you Have a Concern?

At Townfield we want not only your child/children to be happy, but also parents & carers.   Please see below for details of who to contact should you have any queries or concerns. 

In the unlikely event that after speaking to the appropriate head of key stage, you feel you still have not received a resolution to your concern, please e-mail the school office (details above) setting out full details of your concerns, who you have spoken to and your expected resolution and any other information which may assist us in investigating your concerns.   We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and our Headteacher or Assistant Head will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to discuss;  you will receive a response to your complaint no later than 10 working days following receipt of full details, in line with the Department for Education guidelines.   For your information a copy of our Complaints Procedure Policy can be found under the "Policies " section of our school website under Key Information. 

If you are unsure who to direct your query to in the first instance please contact the School Office, who will be happy to assist you. 

Meeting Requests with the Headteacher & Deputy Headteacher

Please note requests for a meeting with the Headteacher or Deupty Headteacher are by appointment only and should only be requested, once the above procedures have already been followed.

Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator & Vulnerable/Looked After Children Coodinator - Mrs C Kinnear, who is also our Assistant Headteacher.  Mrs Kinnear also coordinates care for our Looked After Children, who are children who are currently in the care of a local authority or have previously been in the care of a local authority.   If you believe she can offer you support or assistance, please contact Mrs Kinnear by email on the email address above. 

Chair of Local Academy Councillors (Governors) - Mrs Caroline Prosser - can be contacted by emailing the clerk to the Trust at kmorris@remat.org.uk   Requests for paper copies of any website content can also be made via this email address. 

How to Contact School

If you have any queries regarding school please email school office they will assist you and/or direct your enquiry to the correct person. 

If your query is regarding Special Education Needs  and Disability information (SEND), Mrs Kinnear our SENCO will assist you and can be contacted via tpssendco@remat.org.uk

If you have any queries relating to Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club please email
