RM: Arctic Animals (UTW- Science)

Class: RM - Miss McLoughin Year: 2023 - 2024

This week we had a special delivery in our class. A penguin egg appeared and began to crack and hatch. The children have been exploring lots of different information about penguins including how big they are, what they do , how they keep warm and the life cycle.
We became penguins ourselves and felt what it would be like to have blubber.

We were also able to explore the outdoors when it had snowed. We built snowmen, made snow angels and talked about all the changes.
